Marshals Windy Corner is from the 2025 Milestones collection in which all the images tell a story from that most sacred stretch of 37 and three quarter miles of road: the Isle of Man TT course.

The story:

In order for the Isle of Man TT to function at least 600 marshals are required for every race and practice session.  Marshals endure the cold, sun, wind, rain and wind throughout the TT period to ensure the world’s most famous motorcycle road race can take place. TT marshals are hugely respected by riders and spectators alike. The Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson MBE  said that Michael Dunlop, on reporting back to Thompson after a sighting lap following a day’s worth of delays, said it was safe enough for riders but not fair on the marshals on the mountain - at sections such as Windy Corner - after enduring a day of exposure in terrible conditions. This is a testament to Dunlop’s respect for TT marshals and, by extension, that of the wider motorcycle community.
