Sudkehre is part of Rachael Clegg’s Nürburgring series, in which every image illustrates a story about Europe’s most treacherous, twisting, challenging racing circuit. All images are designed and modelled by Rachael and shot - on location - by Ian Parry at the epic Nordschleife circuit. Each image ‘recreates’ a specific event in the Nürburgring’s history at the exact spot that event happened.

The story: 

Photographers are always eager for the best action shots. And at the 1961 German GP, they certainly got action - in spades. 

At the South Curve Graham Hill got into a tangle with Dan Guerney and broadsided into his Porsche. The incident caused Hill, driving his BRM, to fly over a ditch and into a field, over the heads of several photographers. 

Rachael Clegg's Limited Edition Art Prints have something of a cult following with collectors across the globe. Limited to edition runs of just 30, each print is signed and numbered by Rachael Clegg and comes with a certificate of authenticity and accompanying story text.
